Welcome to the Spiritual Insights with Andrea podcast. This episode is our channeled messages for December 29th to January 4th. The message for this week is we are at a pattern shift.

Andrea:

And then they actually gave me a visual of you turning around to see the past two weeks and thinking, what was that? Like this almost disbelief of everything that has h appened over the last two weeks. And then they proceeded to show me you at the start of a roundabout. As you were standing in front of the roundabout, you were basically having three choices put in front of you. You could also look at this as three patterns that you might be stuck in. So the first was you were stuck in the roundabout, just kind of going around and around and around and weren't sure which path to take. The second was that you had chosen a path and were moving forward. And then the third was you got in the roundabout and went right back to the exact same road that you had just come from. And so then they proceeded to kind of go through each one of those to talk about what you should do and why you're in that position in the first place. So with the first one, staying in the roundabout, they said, oftentimes this happens because of fear and indecision. They said, you know, you don't want to go back. That is a very firm fact in your head. However, the next step forward is either very fearful or you're just not sure which path to take. Now, if you went back to the same path, they said, this is because you're either really comfortable in your current circumstances or you're not even aware that it's time to move on. And they said, this can be from kind of two major reasons. The first is habit. You're just used to that pattern, that road. And so you just keep going back. And then the other is that you're having resistance to new ideas and moving forward. It was almost like you didn't even realize that it was time to move on. There was this almost blindness to being able to see that it was time to move on. And they said, really, that's kind of the biggest difference between being stuck in the roundabout and going back to the old path is that you understand you need a change. And that's where you might get stuck or move forward, or you don't understand that it's time for a change. So being stuck in the roundabout is more about fear, making the wrong decisions, indecisions. Whereas going back is more about you not having fully, fully released and accepted that it is time to move on. And they said that can also be from fear. And then there's a resistance from even thinking about it. So because of this fear of leaving the known, you might not even allow yourself time to process and realize that it is time to move on. So it's almost like going back to the path is the step right before deciding you have to go. And then that stuck in the roundabout is the step right before you pick your path and move on. So these can be simply about where your mindset is, is to moving to the next phase. And so it's really important to be aware of where you are in that sort of decision making process. So then they had some solutions for the options where you were stuck in the roundabout or going back to the old path. So if you're stuck in that roundabout, they said the best thing you can do is understand the fear that is holding you back. And they said, once you understand that fear, you can pick one of the roads going forward and slowly start going down that path. You don't have to race down it. You just have to start kind of taking one step at a time. And then they said, if you're heading back to the same path, what you can do there is slow down and start to pay attention to your patterns, really recognizing any habitual issues that are keeping you stuck. Then they gave me three questions that you can ask yourself while you're in this slow down phase. The first is, what are you getting from this that you can let go of or get in a different way? So you're getting something from staying on your current path. What is that? And how can you get it in a different way? The next question was, what truths are you not accepting? Where are you just in complete denial about needing to go on a new path or even how bad the current path is or how comfortable it is? It might not be bad. It might just be that it's completely comfortable. And then the final question they want you to ask yourself is, where are you being stubborn about letting go of the past? You might know exactly what needs done or where you want to go, but you might be very stubborn about maybe not wanting it. Maybe you're not fully on board. So really explore where are you getting really glitched and being stubborn then about not moving forward. And then they ended this week's guidance with letting you know that if you have chosen a new road and are already on it and you are moving forward, the only advice they have for you is to just be very careful to watch for old habits. Even when we pick a new path and we are on that new path and we are happy about that new path, that doesn't mean our old habits go away. So anytime in life we have an extended period of something, even if that extended period is 90 days, we are forming habits. And when we move forward, those habits can really easily pull us back in. So be very conscious of your habitual activities. And habits aren't just actions. It's not just I got up in the morning and I meditate. That's my habit. It can be my habit is always saying no. It can be my habit is I think I'm not worthy. It can be a habitual thing tied to mindset, beliefs, value. And so when you are on this new path, make sure that you're really not making assumptions based on these ingrained habits. So that's what they had for us this week.
