 Empaths often pick up others feelings without even realizing it. In this short meditation we determine if it is our feeling or not. Then remove it from our body and replace with a positive emotion of our choice.

In this short meditation we are going to identify if a feeling that you are experiencing right now is yours or somebody else's. Then we will release that emotion if it is not yours.

So to get started, get into a comfortable position, and begin by taking in a couple of deep breaths to relax yourself.

Taking an inhale in and exhale.

Inhale in and exhale.

Inhale in and exhale.

Now pull up the feeling that you are experiencing right now. Pull that feeling into your heart and then ask the feeling, “Where did you come from? Whose feeling are you?”

Sometimes all you will receive is a simple “Not yours.” Sometimes you will find the answer of whose it actually is. Give yourself time to hear this answer.

Now, if that feeling is yours, I want you to sit with it and ask it what it wants you to know.

If it is not yours, I want you to imagine a ball of energy in front of you. It can be whatever color or size, what you want.

Imagine that ball pulling out the emotion from your body.

When it is complete, I want you to toss that ball up into the sky and watch it dissipate.

Now we want to replace that feeling with one of your own. Choose love or joy and place it in your heart where the other emotion was.

Soak up that feeling and let it restore you.

Slowly bring your attention back to the room, wiggling your fingers and your toes, opening your eyes, taking one final deep breath, inhaling, and exhaling.

You might have more feelings that are still there. It may have been more than just one feeling. So I encourage you to replay this short meditation to discover each feeling’s ownership. Return it and replace it with positive energy.
